The Federal Government of Nigeria is set to promote the country’s rich cultural heritage by establishing “Renewed Hope Cultural Villages” across the 36 states. This initiative, disclosed by Mr. Abiola Jagunlabi, Senior Special Assistant to the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, aims to preserve Nigeria’s cultural heritage, enhance tourism, and boost economic growth.
The cultural villages will collaborate with state governments, focusing on restoring historic sites, monuments, and artifacts. The project is designed to drive job creation and economic growth through the arts and creative sectors, in alignment with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
