BREAKING NEWS: TWO FEDERAL LAWMAKERS SET TO DEFECT TO PDP AMID PARTY RESTRUCTURING.
Information emerging from Nigeria’s National Assembly reveals that two federal lawmakers are poised to decamp to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). This political shift is reportedly linked to the ongoing restructuring within the PDP.
The announcement was made by the spokesman of the Opposition Lawmakers Coalition, Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere. In a public statement, he revealed:
“Two federal lawmakers will decamp to PDP tomorrow as a result of the ongoing PDP restructuring, which led to the NWC’s sack of Samuel Anyanwu (Wike’s ManFriday) as Secretary and his replacement with Hon. Setonji Koshoedo as acting secretary.”
He further emphasized that the National Working Committee’s recent actions are beginning to restore confidence in the party:
“The decampment tomorrow which I have been informed of shows that if the right things are done, PDP can still be rescued.”
Ugochinyere also called for the immediate expulsion of several key figures, including Wike, Anyanwu, Ortom, Ugwuanyi, and Ikpeazu, urging for the appointment of a substantive National Chairman from the North Central region.
