THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW: AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR

From:

To:
His Excellency,
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR
President, Federal Republic of Nigeria

—

Your Excellency,

Two years into your administration, Nigerians are asking one urgent question: When will this country start working again?

You came into office with promises of renewed hope, yet your leadership has been defined by relentless borrowing—not for production or infrastructure, but for consumption. The result? A sinking economy, unbearable inflation, and a people pushed to the brink of despair.

Your Excellency, governance is not just about slogans; it is about action. Your cabinet must be reminded that Nigeria cannot thrive on debt-fueled stagnation. We need:

A shift from consumption-driven borrowing to investment in real sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and energy.

Accountability in public spending—where are the trillions going?

A clear, measurable plan to rescue the naira, create jobs, and secure lives.

The patience of Nigerians is not infinite. If your government cannot deliver, history will judge harshly.

Call your cabinet to order. Nigeria must work again.

Sincerely,
Nyamoko Mayor Eloka
A Concerned Citizen.
